Carmine Montuori

Carmine started his career at Connecticut Associates Insurance. He quickly earned a Connecticut Property and Casualty Insurance License and worked as an Account Manager for six years.

Moving on to further his education and career potential, Carmine joined V.F. McNeil in 1997 as an Account Manager and worked towards receiving his designation in 2002 as a Certified Insurance Counselor. In addition, he earned his Life and Health Insurance License in 2009.

Carmine was promoted to Vice President in January 2014 and was nominated as one of New Haven’s Finest professionals in 2016. In 2017, he was also chosen, statewide by his clients, as a Five Star Insurance Professional for an outstanding client satisfaction rating.

This is evident in the longevity of his client relationships, especially when it comes to his areas of focus. When it comes to developing customized insurance policies, he works closely with privately owned businesses in Connecticut like manufacturers, cultural institutions, bio science and life science companies, commercial property managers, large artisan contractors, paving and excavating contractors, and professional offices. He also has a strong clientele in the high-net-worth community, living in Connecticut, who need a close relationship with their insurance agent and customized insurance solutions.

He also serves as a board member on the East Haven Chamber of Commerce and belongs to the Amity Club of New Haven, each providing him with opportunities to give back to the community and support other local businesses.

Carmine is jokingly referred to as the giant insurance brain in the office which often makes him the go-to person for his clients and peers when it comes to complicated insuring matters. His talent for being humorous keeps the office laughing. He was born in Piedmont, Italy and speaks fluent Italian.

In his personal time, he loves a round of golf, a good comedy, spending time with his wife and daughter, and lives by one of his favorite quotes, “Wherever I am, I shall be well content.” His favorite vacation was taking his daughter to Disney World. He loved the book Of Mice and Men and is a bit hooked on the Eight Sleep app
